The Grand is not so Grand anymore… I was highly disappointed in 2night stay for Sunfest -wine on the beach. Booking thru a 3rd party Expedia, I got the least desirable room available. I have stayed many times here- usually 8th fl. Or higher I was Given 2nd floor/deck and would not accommodate a higher floor even over deck. I was subjected to noise- from elevator; vending machine and room adjacent to mine and- parent shirtless dripping from pool with yelling kids.. Customer service is sorely lacking, very stoic. Cold, I used the blanket on 2nd queen for comfort. There was no fan in bathroom to offset yelling and screaming in hallway. No hot tub. Pool lukewarm. The restaurant didn’t have expresso coffee drinks as advertised on table. No amenities open for this time of year. I ask to speak to Manager and I received the 3rd party speech. The commode was disgusting I note taking hot bath to warm up. The railing on balcony is not only an eye sore but safety concerns rusted and an opening created on side pet or child could get past to next door. Not to mention having to pay daily parking charge- are you friggin kidding me- that used to be a plus -Having coffee on balcony, next door person said “good morning” I noted it would be had I slept- “oh”? -let her aware of the loud tv crime segment, intimate noise and belching was heard into the wee hours. No, I was not a happy camper. She noted I should complain to Hotel- which I have- futile no sleep and then Drive 3hours

We never slept here. The room was incredibly dirty. Stained sheets, stained carpet, god only knows what on the walls in the bathroom. The table and chairs were a table that folded out from the wall with a stick underneath. The chairs were two rusty folding chairs. The blinds in the window were busted up and only covered half the window. I honestly don’t know how they’ve not been shut down. We quickly found another hotel.
